Hours: Rotating shifts - 05:30-13:30 and 13:30-21:30.

Hamilton Woods are currently working with a well established manufacturing business based in Coalville. As a Machine Operative you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth production processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production line machinery to ensure efficient and accurate operation.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely, following company policies and safety documentation such as risk assessments, control procedures, and safe systems of work.
  • Promptly and transparently report any safety issues, accidents, incidents, or potential hazards related to the environment or equipment, in line with company guidelines.
  • Support and uphold site cleanliness by following designated cleaning schedules.
  • Consistently adhere to and uphold quality standards and procedures.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to any disruptions or failures affecting productivity or processes.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills to address issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
