Electrician

A1 Jobs are recruiting for an Electrician to join our client, a Lanarkshire based manufacturing firm

Your role will be to work safely on all types of equipment, Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatics, ensuring plant, production equipment, site services and facilities are all maintained to the highest level to minimise downtime.

Your role will be to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis, reporting and tracking.

Roles and responsibilities

• Respond promptly to plan downtime to maximise throughput.
• Repair and replace damaged equipment.
• Record completed works using CMMS.
• Interrogate, fault find and resolve equipment problems.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Skills and Experience

• Fully qualified Electrician/Fitter within a factory environment
• 18th Edition
• Relevant experience in high paced manufacturing facility
• Flexible to work shift pattern.
• Ideal experience should come from a process environment with a comprehensive knowledge of electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Experience of HVAC, rolling mills, gearboxes, motors and pumps is essential.
