3.5 TONNE DRIVER - ROTATING SHIFT

MONDAY - FRIDAY: ROTATING SHIFT PATTERN: 0600/1300 STARTS

£12.05 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to work a rotating shift for our well-established client based in Coatbridge.

Day-to-Day Duties

Your duties as a 3.5 Tonne Driver will include but will not be limited to:

• Completing daily vehicle checks before and after your shift
• Driving 3.5 Tonne vehicles safely and efficiently
• Working as part of a two-person team
• Delivering furniture from the client's Inverness warehouse to customer's homes
• Placing delivered items in the customer's room of choice
• Lifting and carrying
• Being flexible with start times, which will alternate between 06.00 and 13.00

Essential Skills

To be successful 3.5 Tonne Driver you must:

• Be prepared for physically demanding work, including heavy lifting
• Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• Have no more than six points on your Driving Licence for minor infringements (no DR or DD convictions)
• Must be able to work rotating shifts

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in a physically demanding role is advantageous but not essential

Training Provided

• You will receive manual handling training and be partnered with an experienced team member for at least one shift, to learn the role and procedures
