The majority of their work is project based for multiple defence companies across the UK.In this varied role, you will work with design and production teams to convert customer needs into effective shop floor instructions and tackle production issues to enhance quality and efficiency. You'll implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, lead improvement projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and liaise with certification bodies and stakeholders as necessary.This role would suit a Manufacturing Engineer or similar with a CAD background, looking to join a growing global leader in marine doors and hardware, offering training, a range of company benefits, and a great work-life balance.The Role:

  • Implement Lean Manufacturing on steel products
  • Liaising with Design/Production/Suppliers/Clients
  • Using AutoCAD / Solidworks
  • Mon - Thurs (7:45AM-4:45PM), 1:15PM finish on a Friday

  • Manufacturing Engineer or similar
  • Background in CAD
  • Commutable to Coatbridge
