Tax Semi Senior

£50,000 - £60,000 (Flexible for higher salary dependant on experience

Hybrid: 3 days WFH - 2 days in the office

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Tax Specialist to join a strong dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for expediting the tax process, managing holding tax, preparing monthly tax returns, and analysing the tax implications of sales activities. This role requires close collaboration with various departments including finance, sales, procurement, and back office.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Process Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to streamline and accelerate the tax process.Holding Tax Management: Oversee the administration and compliance of holding tax obligations.Monthly Tax Returns: Prepare and file accurate monthly tax returns in a timely manner.Sales Tax Analysis: Investigate and assess how sales activities impact tax liabilities and compliance.Cross-Department Collaboration: Maintain strong working relationships with finance, sales, procurement, and back office teams to ensure cohesive and compliant tax practices. 

Qualifications:

Education: QTA qualification or equivalent.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax-related role, preferably within a global organization.

Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
