Income Officer 

Salary: 25,400

Option to work across 4 or 5 days - hybrid working available 

Leatherhead 

Responsible for managing the rent and service charge accounts. Including calculating charges, managing rent statements and monitoring payments. The role plays a key part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring accurate and timely recording of rent and service charges and rent collections thereby supporting tenants with their financial obligations.

Working in a finance team of 9 and reporting into the financial accountant.  

The right candidate: 

As Rents & Service Charges Officer, you will have a strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and knowledge of rents and service charges.Ideally you will have at least 2 years of experience in a finance or rents & service charges role, preferably within a housing association, or similar environment.Strong understanding and knowledge of rent and service charge calculation, housing regulations and financial management practices in the context of social housing.
