Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for a market leader in their field, in their search for a Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and will live within commutable distance to Leatherhead as this is an office based role, although flexibility is offered on the working hours.

Main Duties:

  • Recording all financial transactions
  • Raising sales invoices and purchase orders
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable invoices
  • Maintaining company ledgers, posting journals for payroll, accruals, and prepayments
  • Setting up payments, recording transactions and reconciling the bank account
  • Processing credit card transactions and staff expenses
  • Credit control for accounts receivable
  • Preparing annual company budgets
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliation schedule for company’s accountants
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Preparing quarterly OPEX and expenses reports for cross charges within the group
  • Gathering monthly information for external payroll administrators
  • Preparing year-end statutory accounts for accountants and submission of all supporting documents

  • Good interpersonal and client service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Able to plan tasks and prioritise effectively
