Our client, a nursery based in Brighton and Hove is looking for a confident cook to work in their kitchen. As the new nursery chef, you will be responsible for cooking meals for the busy lunch and responsible for the smooth running of the lunch service. Working days for this role are Monday - Friday and hours will be 8:30am - 5pm

What will you be doing?

As a Chef de Partie, you'll work closely with the onsite Chef Manager to deliver delicious, nutritious meals for the students. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Chef Manager with the preparation and cooking of main meals and snacks.
  • Working with fresh, seasonal ingredients to cook for a volume of 200+ meals.
  • Occasionally providing counter service and operating tills as needed.
  • Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.
