Are you an experienced and qualified finance professional with a track record of managing a team? Are you looking for the next step to progress in your career?

My client, a successful business based on the outskirts of Leatherhead, is looking to add a Deputy Finance Director to their experienced, newly restructured finance department, playing a key part in the leadership and finance operations. Due to growth, this outstanding organisation is seeking an experience qualified finance leader to join and add value in delivering continue growth and development.

This role will be supporting the Director of Finance in the overall running of the department.

Day to Day duties will include:

  • Team management, delegation and developing/upskilling
  • Benchmarking and KPI tracking / performance management
  • Review and renegotiate contracts
  • Support the Financial operations of various entities
  • Ensure smooth running of financial controls, processes and systems
  • Work on the implementation and compliance of VAT, policies and regulations
  • Lead, support, and motivate
  • Management reporting; budgets, forecasts, modelling

The Ideal Candidate is someone with:

  • Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Experience in financial analysis, advanced excel skills
  • Management experience
  • Knowledge of process improvements and/or systems implementation
  • A high level of confidentiality
