About the Role:A prestigious FTSE 100 company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ground Rent Coordinator on behalf of their client. The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection and recording of ground rent income for freehold-owning companies and a third-party investment firm. This role also includes administrative tasks such as updating property management systems with new completions. Credit control experience would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Ground Rents team with billing, collecting, and recording ground rent payments.
  • Handling leaseholder queries via phone and email with professionalism.
  • Processing card payments through SagePay and posting cash on leaseholder accounts.
  • Managing mail-outs, including demands and reminder letters.
  • Liaising with Managing Agents, Solicitors, and Operating Companies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Dealing with the assignment of leases and addressing solicitor queries.
  • Preparing and uploading newly completed units into the system.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A proactive individual with strong initiative, attention to detail, and common sense.
  • Proficiency in IT and knowledge of credit control.
  • Confident telephone communication skills and strong written abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Annual Leave:

  • Initially, 22 days of annual leave plus 3 days during the Christmas period.
  • One additional day of leave added each year for the next three years, totaling 25 days after five years of service, plus the Christmas period leave.
