Commercial Property ManagerEpsom, Surrey£45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

Our client is a specialist RICS commercial property management company who are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of commercial assets in accordance with the management agreements
  • Manage and develop client relationships, understand client objectives and act as the main point of contact for your clients.
  • Work closely with Building Managers, Facilities Managers, Accounts, Graduates and Contractors.
  • Understand the principles of lease structure and interpretation.
  • Preparing and administering service charge, budgets and reconciliation in accordance with RICS guidelines.  
  • Reporting to directors and clients.
  • Actively visit properties across the portfolio and arrange property inspections, liaising directly with tenants and assistant the Facilities Manages in assessing contractor performance.
  • Ensure tenants comply with their lease obligations
  • Liaise with leasing agents, solicitors and other external consultants.
  • Overseeing the financial operations of your portfolio, ensuring that all financial reporting is undertaken as per the client requirements.
  • Support the Directors to appraise new buildings and assisting with new business presentations.

Other key skills and equalisations the successful candidate should possess are:

  • Excellent reporting and negotiation skills
  • strong written and communications skills
  • Up to date knowledge of commercial property legislation 
  • 2 years + post qualifications experience as a commercial property manager handling portfolios and clients. 
  • Good understanding of property accountancy. 
  • Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook 
  • Experience using and adapting to market leading commercial property management & CAFM software packages. 
  • MRICS Qualification is preferred 
  • Driving licence & vehicle will be required
