Neighbourhood Officer
Hybrid pattern: 3 Days in office (potentially 2 days in the office after the intial few months)
Full time hours: 35 hours per week
Temporary Contract: 9 months (potential for temp to perm)
This Neighbourhood Officer role requires a FULL UK Driving Licence with Business Insurance

- Maintain the Neighbourhood team’s administrative systems, databases, and ensure accurate financial and statistical records.
- Update void reports and spreadsheets for General Needs Voids
- Co-ordinate allocations and voids for the housing team, liaising with prospective tenants, interviewing applicants, seeking references
- Responsible for end of tenancy pre-inspections; assisting with booking home visits
- Oversee void processes: such as chairing and recording weekly void meetings; liaising with surveyors, etc.
- Support resident involvement activities, including consultations, surveys, service promotion, and updating publications or website content
- Assist with housing services administration, including tree works, budgets, tenancy audits, tenant profiles, parking permits, and related projects
- Support former tenant arrears collection, liaise with solicitors, and provide information for the Operations Manager
- Manage end of tenancy processes, such as filing, archiving and returning credits
- Involved in reception duty rota and GDPR compliance for the housing team
- Excellent administration skills
- IT Literate
- Highly organised
- Strong attention to detail and able to prioritise workload
- Strong communicator
