Project Manager Opportunity – Civil Engineering Contractor
Our client, a well-established and reputable Civil Engineering Main Contractor with an annual turnover of £100 million, is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their civil engineering team on a permanent basis. Covering power projects predominantly across the East of Scotland, you will play a key role in the delivery of a large, long-term framework.
You will benefit from a supportive and collaborative working environment, which encourages creativity and innovation, with the ultimate aim of delivering high-quality solutions to clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, economically, and in full compliance with regulations.
Due to the seniority and responsibility of the role, you must have proven experience managing a variety of Civil Engineering projects, particularly those within the Scottish Power framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- HSEQ management
- Liaising with existing and new clients
- Managing project budgets
- Site personnel management
- Overseeing commercial aspects of the project
- Reporting and record keeping
Essential Requirements:
- Educated to degree or HNC level in a relevant civil engineering discipline
- Proven experience managing a range of Civil Engineering projects
- Extensive technical knowledge and control of all civil site activities
- Experience working on Scottish Power projects would be advantageous
- Proactive communicator
- Full UK driving licence
