This is a newly created role for a well-known brand are looking for someone to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the group’s financial reporting, drive compliance, efficiency, and financial excellence across the business while supporting strategic decision-making.

As a Group Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP financial reporting standards.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support key business decisions.
  • Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, sales tax, and regulatory filings.
  • Collaborate with subsidiaries and business units to align financial policies.

About You:

  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a group accounting role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial consolidation and reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative finance team.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
