Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading provider based in Colchester.

Role Purpose
  • Support a community-focused project to engage and benefit local communities.
  • Help restore historic boats and create learning opportunities to improve access and engagement.
  • Promote community recovery by organising inclusive activities and expanding outreach efforts.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Plan and manage outreach programs for diverse groups, including educators, volunteers, and underrepresented communities.
  • Recruit and support volunteers, ensuring the necessary infrastructure is in place.
  • Organise meetings, events, and educational activities both on-site and off-site.
  • Promote the project using printed materials, websites, and social media platforms.
  • Collect feedback and data to evaluate and improve ongoing programs.
Requirements
  • Related experience e.g. administration, public sector, recruitment or event planning.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team or independently.
  • Knowledge of health and safety.
  • Right to work in the UK
