Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for financial advising? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can support advisers in delivering exceptional client service? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Our client is seeking a dedicated IFA Admin Assistant to be an integral part of their financial advising team.

What You'll Do:As an IFA Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting advisers and enhancing client experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Factfind Assistance: Help advisers compile and ensure factfinds are accurately completed before passing them to paraplanners for reporting. ??
  • Client Interaction: Manage client emails, return calls for inquiries, and assist advisers with their schedules. ??
  • Technical Support: Provide basic technical assistance, such as obtaining quotes, inputting cash flow information, and running fundamental tax calculations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle lower-level administration duties, including scanning and updating the back-office system (approximately 20% of your role). ???
  • New Business Support: Work closely with the new business team to facilitate investment business, ISA and pension transfers, withdrawals, and fund switching. ??

What We're Looking For:To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Industry Experience: A strong preference for candidates with prior experience in financial advising and familiarity with Intelligent Office.
  • Platform Knowledge: Experience with investment platforms such as Abrdn, Fidelity, Quilter, and Elevate is highly desirable.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent administrative and organisational abilities to keep everything running smoothly. ??
  • Technical Aptitude: While extensive technical knowledge isn't required, a basic understanding will be beneficial, and we will provide training.
