Your new role

We are seeking multi skilled carpenters to join a local social housing maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services by carrying out responsive and planned repairs to occupied properties. Your primary trade will be carpentry, additionally, you may handle minor tiling, plastering and decorating tasks within a social housing setting.

Essentials:

  • Hold a City & Guilds Craft or Level 2 qualification in Carpentry (or equivalent).
  • Valid and clean full UK driving licence
  • Possess strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Customer-focused with experience in occupied properties.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality repairs on time.
  • Punctual, reliable, and comfortable using small handheld tools (e.g., drills, breakers).

Desireables:

  • Experience with social housing maintenance
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • CSCS or NEBOSH
  • Own van and tools
