Reed in Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to join their dynamic sales and lettings office in Colchester. The role involves seeking, winning, and selling residential properties, providing top-notch service, and adhering to company policies. You will be responsible for managing your own instructions, supporting the Sales Manager, and working towards set KPIs.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Present offers to vendors and negotiate sales terms effectively
  • Secure property instructions with signed terms of business
  • Create compelling property details using company software
  • Proactively manage the applicant database, identifying key prospects
  • Conduct targeted marketing initiatives to promote the brand and maximise board presence
  • Advise clients on market conditions, pricing, and legal requirements
  • Promote property sales through various channels, including advertisements and open houses
  • Schedule and accompany property viewings, providing prompt feedback to clients
  • Regularly review property listings to maintain current and appealing offerings
  • Take professional standard photographs and carry out AML checks in line with company policy

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven negotiation and selling skills.
  • Ability to prepare written sales information and marketing data.
  • Ambitious, driven, and charismatic personality.
  • Smart and professional appearance.
  • Knowledge of the local sales market.
  • Confidence in presenting to clients and securing instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain positive client and colleague relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills.
