Overview

Compass Associates is privileged to be working alongside a leading national Social Care provider specialising in Adult Residential and Supported Living services (Learning Disability and Autistic Spectrum Conditions) they have 98 services Nationwide.

They require a Head of Marketing to oversee the marketing team of two a Marketing Executive and a Communications Co-ordinator you will be reporting to the Director of Referrals and Partnerships the previous Marketing Manager had set in motion valuable new processes re Website redesign embedding the internal and external communications these will need to be taken forwards

Purpose of the role:

  • To lead the day-to-day brand & communications function to strengthen their brand.
  • To convey key messages and engage with existing and new audiences both internally and externally.

Communications

  • Lead internal and external Communications ensuring key message are shared with colleagues
  • Develop new innovative channels and campaigns that engage internal audiences.
  • Supervise the team contributing to content to social media channels on a regular basis (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) in line with organisation guidelines.
  • Execute and manage social media campaigns to build followers, enhance visibility, and drive engagement.
  • Work with central support and operational colleagues to build and promote appropriate content.
  • Conduct analysis to assess the performance of digital content with recommendations for change and improvement.
  • Maintain a culture of engagement with colleagues at all levels within the organisation, responding to their feedback.
  • Monitor and manage social media in the event of crisis or concerns.
  • Support for recruitment marketing.
  • To lead on the organisation and delivery of the Annual Leadership Conference.
  • Support the People Team with campaigns and audits that support our certification as a GPTW.

Brand

  • Leading the team to deliver on all brand-related activities, acting as key contact in supporting the organisation with projects, campaigns and improvements where brand consistency is key.
  • Oversee and contribute to the design of materials as required by the organisation.
  • Build marketing plans and budgets for the smooth operation of marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure they collect, review, and analyze market information to identify and develop our approach to collection, market trends, new opportunities, and challenges.
  • Oversee the team managing the maintenance of the website and internal Hub.
  • Leading on development of annual Impact Report and other publications designed to enhance brand reputation.
  • Oversee Employer Branding, including the annual completion of the Culture Aduit.

Location / Portfolio

The role is primarily Hybrid with a couple of times a week at Head office in Colchester.
