James George Recruitment has partnered with a highly prestigious group of companies in their search for an experienced PPC & SEO Manager.

The role will focus on both ecommerce sales and lead generation using the power of search engine marketing. Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, you will be a vital member of the marketing team, tasked with direct channel ownership, managing PPC campaigns and leading SEO efforts in-house for the group’s proprietary businesses.

The role is ideal for a candidate with a strong track record in Google Ads, delivering improved ROAS, profitability, and scalability for ecommerce campaigns, as well as increasing lead volumes and reducing CPA for lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PPC Campaign Management:
    • Manage PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads.
    • Focus on improving ROAS, scaling ecommerce campaigns, and optimising lead generation efforts to reduce CPA.
    • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and continuous optimisation to drive results.
    • Align PPC campaigns with business goals and ensure consistency across the group.
  • SEO Strategy & Execution:
    • Lead the SEO strategy for multiple business entities, implementing best practices for on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
    • Collaborate with content creators to ensure content is search-engine optimised.
    • Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and adapt strategies accordingly to enhance organic visibility.
  • Performance Reporting & Analysis:
    • Monitor, analyse, and report on PPC and SEO campaign performance.
    • Use tools like GoogleAnalytics to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
    • Present regular reports to the Group Marketing Director, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
    • Work alongside the in-house marketing team to ensure PPC and SEO efforts are in sync with the overall marketing strategy.
    • Share insights and digital marketing recommendations with stakeholders across the group.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in PPC campaign management, especially in Google Ads, with a proven track record of improving business results.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, including technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
  • Demonstrable success in improving ROAS and scaling ecommerce campaigns, as well as reducing CPA for lead generation.
  • Proficient with tools such as GoogleAnalytics, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, Google Merchant Centre, Shopify and other relevant platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
