Join our clients dynamic Finance team as a Credit Controller. If you are a meticulous financial professional with a knack for managing credit and collections and excel in maintaining positive client relationships while ensuring timely payments, this role is for you. We are looking for someone who can contribute to our team with their superb organisational skills and proven experience in credit control.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Monitor the Finance email inbox daily and respond promptly to customer queries.
  • Proactively chase debtors and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Handle weekly invoicing and issuing of credits.
  • Prepare and send out customer statements and perform account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate customer receipts profiles for cash flow forecasting.
  • Assist with the Accounts Payable function during periods of holiday or absence within the team, including processing invoices, performing statement reconciliations, and dealing with queries.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the management accountant and senior members of the Finance team as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent IT skills with extensive experience using Excel.
  • Experience with accounting packages.
  • Superb communication and people skills, capable of maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work effectively within pressured time frames.
  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller, demonstrating a track record of managing credit and collections efficiently.
