Credit Controller

Time Appointments are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading business based in Colchester for an experienced Credit Controller to join their close-knit, busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a for the successful candidate to develop their skills and work within a friendly organisation who value their staff.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Invoicing customers as appropriate
• Monitoring customer accounts, ensuring money is collected in line with terms, and overdue debts collected.
• Monitoring customer credit limits to ensure the continuous flow of monies
• Ensuring enquiries are dealt with and chased regularly
• Monitoring of debtors to identify and prioritise appropriate action on any collection issues

Skills & Experience Required:

• An accounts all-rounder with proven experience of working in a credit control function
• Proficient in the use of Sage software
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and reliability
• Proactive and innovative, with a positive 'can-do’ attitude.
• The ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team
• The ability to prioritise workloads in a pressured environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
