Time Appointments are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading business based in Colchester for an experienced Credit Controller to join their close-knit, busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a for the successful candidate to develop their skills and work within a friendly organisation who value their staff.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Invoicing customers as appropriate
- Monitoring customer accounts, ensuring money is collected in line with terms, and overdue debts collected.
- Monitoring customer credit limits to ensure the continuous flow of monies
- Ensuring enquiries are dealt with and chased regularly
- Monitoring of debtors to identify and prioritise appropriate action on any collection issues
Skills & Experience Required:
- An accounts all-rounder with proven experience of working in a credit control function
- Proficient in the use of Sage software
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and reliability
- Proactive and innovative, with a positive 'can-do’ attitude.
- The ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team
- The ability to prioritise workloads in a pressured environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
