Job Opportunity: Credit Controller
Location:Colchester or Ipswich
Salary:Competitive, up to £35,000/£36,000
Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-orientedCredit Controllerto manage client accounts, ensuring effective debt collection through email and phone. This role offers flexible working options and occasional travel to offices across Essex, Suffolk, and Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chase outstanding debtors via email and phone.
- Build positive relationships with clients.
- Process payments securely over the phone.
- Update outstanding debtor accounts.
- Work to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Suggest and implement procedural improvements.
- Negotiate payment plans and set up Direct Debit arrangements.
What Were Looking For:
- Qualifications:CICM welcomed but not essential.
- Experience:Previous experience in credit control, ideally in professional services.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
