My client, a thriving utlities company in Colchester is looking to recruit a Contact Manager to help support the team on an initial 12 month contract. You will be responsible for assessing contracts and ensuring the business signs beneficial deals. you will understand the requirements of any contract or agreement they as a company is entering and advise on how to get the most favourable terms and conditions.This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their Procurement career with lots of opportunity to make this role their own as well as develop with the company as they continue to grow.Duties include but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain relationships with independent contractors, vendors and suppliers, including:
- Evolve the standard contracts that the company uses in its dealings with internal and external partners.
- Studying the requirements, duties and obligations of the company under contracts to ensure alignment with the company's goals and industry regulations.
- Supervising contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Researching business partners and their history prior to writing or signing contracts.
- Monitoring the implementation and performance of signed contracts.
- Commercial point of contact between the company, its employees, vendors and contractors.
Your skills and experience:
- Telecom or Utilities experience (desirable)
- CIS part or fully qualified
- Working knowledge of contract laws and corporate policies.
- NEC Contract management (desirable)
