Job Scope:

We are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Care Manager to provide appropriate leadership and ensure the delivery of high-quality care within our clients domiciliary care services. This role focuses on supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities, including those with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, dementia, and complex needs, enabling them to live independently and with dignity in their communities.a

As a Care Manager, you will oversee compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining excellent relationships with social care regulators and local authorities. You will manage new business opportunities, attend contract meetings, and ensure effective staffing and rota management. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing quality assurance initiatives, maintaining comprehensive staff inductions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through clinical governance frameworks.

You as a Care Manager will audit care plans and risk assessments, ensuring timely completion and compliance. Supporting and appraising staff, you will address underperformance and conduct regular supervision to maintain high standards. Your empathetic leadership, strong organizational skills, and dedication to promoting dignity and independence will ensure exceptional care delivery.

Do you have?

  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care, or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it, candidates with Level 3 are welcome if committed to progression.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including effective delegation, motivation, and hands-on involvement, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and person-centred care, with experience implementing best practices.
  • Proficient in financial management and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective and high-quality care services.
  • Organisational, time-management, and problem-solving skills to handle challenges calmly and maintain smooth operations.
  • Commitment to staff training and development, staying current with industry advancements, and proficient in IT systems to streamline processes.
  • Driving license with access to a car.
