Reed Business Support in Colchester are recruiting an Events Administrator for our growing client. This role involves assisting in the management and delivery of a diverse portfolio of events, conferences, workshops, seminars, and training courses across Europe, both in-person and online. If you are enthusiastic about organising events and providing excellent customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Handle event queries via email and manage the delivery of events
- Assist in organising social programmes and coordinating panel schedules.
- Create content and support relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Assist with on-site event setup and management, and configure the event website.
- Ensure that enquiries related to events are handled efficiently, providing relevant information and support.
- Create and maintain comprehensive event documentation, plans, and reports.
- Monitor event progress, addressing any disruptions or delays proactively.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding travel and accommodation requirements.
- Support the creation and maintenance of high standards of presentation of event spaces.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good general education, typically to GCSE equivalent or higher.
- Experience in general administration within a busy office environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills and administrative tasks.
- Flexible approach to working hours and arrangements.
- Experience in delivering virtual and/or hybrid events is desirable.
- Event management certification is a plus.
