The Finance Manager is integral to the success of our client's company, ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency. Tasked with maintaining accurate financial records, this role involves meticulous management of accounting activities and the oversight of office operations. Leadership skills are paramount as the Finance Manager will guide a dedicated team of finance assistants, fostering a collaborative environment to meet the company's financial objectives.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, monitor cash flow, and manage budget variances.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations through coordination with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance against targets.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
  • Process payroll, maintain employee records, and support HR functions.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in financial management and office administration.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ideally Sage, and MS Office Suite.
  • HR and payroll administration experience.
  • Proven team management experience.
  • Sage or equivalent training or established working experience.
  • Excellent focus on customer service and communication.
