NXTGEN is searching for an experienced and driven Finance Manager to join a dynamic organisation entering an exciting growth phase. This Finance Manager role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership position, with the autonomy to influence financial strategy and processes. As Finance Manager, you'll be the key link between the finance function and senior leadership, ensuring the financial health of the business while driving efficiencies and supporting strategic goals.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, offering proactive financial insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage the year-end process, including the preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with auditors.
  • Take responsibility for the finance team, mentoring and developing staff to maximise performance.
  • Review and improve financial controls, ensuring robust processes are in place as the business scales.
  • Lead the analysis of financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost-saving and revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT submissions and corporation tax returns.
  • Act as a key business partner to operational teams, providing financial guidance to aid decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial risks, implementing strategies to safeguard the company's financial future.

What We're Looking For:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with a strong track record in finance leadership.
  • Experience in managing financial operations within an SME or fast-growing business environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (e.g., Sage or similar).
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Commercially minded, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and drive change.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
