Search are delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Finance Manager to join our client's Edinburgh office on a permanent, part-time (3 days) basis. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the core business activities, particularly in finance.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing draft monthly management accounts.
* Managing monthly payroll, including holiday pay, SSP, SMP, and pension deductions.
* Submitting monthly PAYE, quarterly VAT, and annual Corporation Tax returns.
* Preparing cash flow projections and supporting preparation of annual budgets.
* Liaising with company auditors at year-end and handling year-end routines.
* Conducting monthly bank reconciliations.
* Recording all receipts and payments, reconciling and inputting into system.
* Managing supplier invoices, ensuring timely payment and inputting into system.
* Performing till reconciliations and weekly banking.
* Administering pension scheme and maintaining asset schedules.
* Developing and maintaining annual insurance policies and handling claims.
* Reconciling petty cash and card credits monthly.
* Providing administrative support when required.

Skills and experience you'll ideally have:
* Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant.
* Proficiency in financial systems and financial management.
* Payroll experience.
* Strong organisational and administrative ability.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
