A Secondary school in Colchester, Essex is looking for a proactive and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join their team from January 2025. This is a long-term role up until July 2025, with the opportunity to contribute to the school's dynamic and supportive learning environment. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Covering classes during the absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on task and following the work set for that lesson.
- Managing students behaviour effectively, maintaining a calm and focused classroom atmosphere.
- Supporting students' learning by providing guidance, answering queries and helping the understanding of content set.
- Being flexible amongst the different subject areas and age groups, working across Key Stage 3 & 4 as required.
