Our client, a large business based in Colchester, are currently recruiting for an IT Network Engineer to join their IT department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing, Monitoring, and testing all security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, network segmentation, routing, VPNs, threat protection, premise entry, CCTV systems to meet company requirements.
  • Create documentation, resolutions, and system configurations for the IT knowledge base. Assist with the company’s knowledge base for user documentation, IT systems and communications to staff.
  • Work closely with the Audit & Compliance team within ISO27001 standards, which includes audits, compliance, policies, documentation, procedures, supplier management, security reviewing and reporting.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Advanced experience with network/security concepts and firewalls.
  • Azure, defender, SSO, MFA and Exchange experience (DKIM, SPF, DMARC)
  • Experience in document infrastructure configuration - ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials
  • Device management experience e.g. Intune, autopilot, application policies, software deployments
