The Role - IT Technician:This IT Technician role will see you providing first/second line support to all users within the school. You may be asked to visit another school site in the area so the successful IT Technician will hold a valid driving license and have access to your own vehicle.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Provide hardware and software technical support to staff and students and tracking issues in a ticket systemTo manage the requests for technical support and organise the response in a timely mannerCreate and maintain accounts and user permissions, and undertake password resets as requiredDiagnose and solve basic network, software and hardware faults and perform maintenance repairs and upgradesAssist with maintenance and troubleshooting for classroom and communal areasAssist with installing, building new computers and setting up equipment for morning assemblies, performances and other AV events.

The ideal IT Technician will:Have experience in trouble shooting IT issues promptlyPossess an eagerness to learn and increase knowledgeBoast good levels of communication and numeracyHave an ability to meet and work to deadlinesHold high levels of accuracy and attention to detailHave a positive approach and be self-motivated
