IT Trainer required for our client to join their HR and learning development team based in their Colchester office but with regular visits to their office Essex based offices. As IT trainer you must be confident in your ability as a Software or Generalist Trainer to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of all IT applications as you will delivering, supporting and evaluating IT training for induction training using online cloud-based document storage solutions. This is an exciting time to join the Human Resources and Learning and Development team as IT trainer as they prepare for updating their key systems and this role will help to deliver the training programme for each team. In addition, the role will involve delivering induction training for new employees and equipping colleagues with the knowledge and skills to succeed. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced IT trainer to join a growing and ambitious team, and a good foundation for continuing your career within Learning and development.

The Role

  • Support the Learning and Development Manager in delivering a broad range of training, development and learning opportunities for the companies’ employees.
  • Develop and present blended learning training content related to projects through a mixture of e-learning, face to face or online training.
  • Create user-friendly training materials, guides, and resources
  • Deliver tailored induction programs to induct all new employees to include an introduction to our firm’s policies, systems, and internal processes
  • Conduct training sessions for various departments, ensuring all employees understand and can effectively use the Firms systems.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees’ queries regarding training
  • Design training programmes based on individual and organisational needs

The Person

  • Essential to possess previous experience in a Software or Generalist Trainer role with an excellent track record and experience in organising, planning and delivering training programmes.
  • Strong experience of training IT systems and using online cloud-based document storage solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills and have experience in developing and delivering training courses for different learning needs.
  • Possess the confidence to design and deliver both soft skill and IT training to a range of group sizes and possess the skill to multitask and problem solve.
  • Must have experience of designing videos or e-learning content.
  • Confident in your ability to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of all IT applications (Microsoft Office, Document Management Systems)
