KS1 Primary Teacher
Year 1 or Year 2 Class Options Available
September 2025 Start
Located in Colchester, Essex
2 Form Entry Primary School
Full Time & Permanent Position
Suitable for ECTs and Experienced Teachers
TLRs Available for Subject Leadership
MPS1 to UPS3

What You'll Bring:

UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1
Secure knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum
Ability to deliver creative, engaging lessons
Confidence in supporting early reading and phonics development
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A positive, team-focused attitude with a proactive approach to learning

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Work closely with your year group partner and planning team
Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure all students reach their potential
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment with strong behaviour management
Collaborate with support staff, parents and leadership to promote student success
