Academics is currently supporting a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Colchester in their search for a dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025. This role is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers, with TLRs available for the right candidate.
The Role:
- Position: KS2 Primary Teacher
- Location: Colchester, Essex
- Start Date: September 2025
- Contract: Full-time & Permanent
- Year Group: Flexible (Years 3-6 depending on experience and preference)
- Salary: MPS1 - UPS3 (with TLRs available for subject leadership)
What We're Looking For:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Secure knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
- A collaborative mindset and positive approach to school life
- A passion for delivering high-quality learning experiences and fostering pupil progress
