We are seeking a HR Business Partner to join this large organisation on an interim basis of approximately three months. This role involves advising on employee relations, enhancing workplace culture, and managing various HR projects and processes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, supportive, and adept at data management and analysis.

Job Purpose:
  • Manage a portfolio of designated departments with a headcount of approximately 250.
  • Advise on employee relations matters, policies, and processes to ensure a supportive work environment.
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings with management to maintain close contact and support with HR.
  • Create and foster a proactive environment to prevent casework and maintain a positive culture.
  • Coordinate processes for investigations such as grievance and disciplinary actions.
  • Manage sickness absence and enforce initiatives to break negativity within the workplace.
  • Regularly run reports and generate usable data, including sickness trigger, probation end date, and contract end dates.
  • Organise and research support systems for employees dealing with cancer to ensure they feel supported.
  • Arrange occupational health appointments and review reports to implement suggested changes.
  • Take minutes, collate, and provide feedback from exit interview data.
  • Assist in the implementation of management training for all new line managers.
  • Create and maintain an HR/Manager dashboard for tracking conversations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in HR, preferably within a similar role managing large teams.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, grievance and disciplinary processes, and sickness absence management.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in generating reports.
  • Experience in handling sensitive health-related matters in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of management.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools for data management and reporting.
