One of the leading independent estate agencies in Colchester requires an experienced Office Administrator to join the team. The successful candidate will support the Administration Hub Manager in Colchester, by ensuring all administrative duties relating to the marketing selling, and letting of properties are completed in an orderly and timely fashion

Daily duties for the Office Administrator include:

  • Manage and distribute correspondence via email and letters to clients, customers, and third parties as needed.
  • Set up and maintain client and customer records using the internal CRM system.
  • Draft and issue tenancy agreements for new rentals and tenancy renewals.
  • Generate and share property performance reports from the online portal with negotiators and clients.
  • Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Department Manager with preparing rent guarantee schedules and conducting regular audits.
  • Assist the Department Manager in performing compliance audits to ensure regulatory standards are met.
  • Help the Department Manager update internal templates, processes, and documentation as required.
  • Process and issue invoices accurately when needed.

The successful Office Administrator requires the following;

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years of office admin experience
  • Smart and presentable.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive relationship with clients, colleagues, and other third parties.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Experience in property sales, lettings, new homes, or the conveyancing sector would be beneficial

Hours:

  • Part-time hours are negotiable, depending on individual requirements. A minimum of 3 days per week is required.

Salary:

£23,000 - £28,000 pro rata (DOE)
