£38,000 - £43,000Payroll Advisor Colchester12 FTCPure are recruiting for a well-established company in Colchester, seeking an experienced Payroll Advisor to join our finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.As part of our commitment to ensuring smooth operations, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to oversee payroll processing and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.This role will be supporting the payroll team and being a deputy to the payroll manager.Key Responsibilities:
  • Process end-to-end payroll for a large number of employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure they are up to date.
  • Calculate and administer statutory payments, including sick pay, maternity/paternity pay, and holiday pay.
  • Process new starters, leavers, and changes to employee details.
  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and tax regulations.
  • Deal with payroll queries and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes, including P60s and P11Ds.
  • Liaise with HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Prepare reports and provide payroll data as requested.
  • Support with audits, ensuring all documentation and payroll records are correctly maintained.
