Fantastic opportunity to join a well known independent food manufacturer in the Colchester area.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating the printing machinery. Quality checking and Attention to detail are essential for this role.
Duties of the Label and Quality Control Operative:
- Carry out visual quality checks of product
- Minimising rejection by implementing good manufacturing practices
- Daily checks of production equipment
- Printing of labels as per customer specification
- Leasing between customers and suppliers
- Dealing with customer complaints and rejections
- Communicating packing requirements to the team
The ideal Label and Quality Control Operative:
- Experience in Food Manufacturing and Production essential
- Great attention to detail
- Own transport due to location
- Experience within Quality Control
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work Saturdays
- Will need to be flexible with hours
Pay and Hours
- 12.03- 12.65 depending on experience
- Varied hours from 07.30am -20.00pm
- Work days can vary Monday - Sunday
