Assistant Quantity Surveyor Required In Colchester

GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established subcontractor based in Colchester who are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their established and dynamic team. Over the past few years, they have become a highly regarded contractor who specialise in Drylining projects across the Commercial, Leisure and Educational sectors.


They work on Drylining projects across Essex and other neighbouring counties with values up to £1m

 

The responsibilities of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor :

  • Assist in tendering process at all stages
  • Sub-contract Tendering
  • Cost Control
  • Cost reporting
  • Liaise with all Internal teams
  • Attend projects meetings
  • Assist with procurement
  • Final Accounts

 

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor must have/be:

  • Hold a Quantity Surveying degree or Construction Management degree
  • Either has just graduated or has a years’ surveying experience in the construction industry
  • Relevant IT Skills
  • Excellent oral communication and written skills
  • A good knowledge of Maths
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
  • Confident, Articulate and a critical thinker
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Willing to undertake training and development when needed.
