About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with a Managing Quantity Surveyor and be part of a dynamic team of five QS's. You will be responsible for overseeing cost management, contract administration, and supporting the project delivery. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong commercial acumen are essential.

Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Cost management and contract administration
  • Preparing and managing valuations and variations
  • Risk management and value engineering
  • Subcontractor procurement and management
  • Supporting the Managing Quantity Surveyor and wider project team

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • 5+ years post-qualification experience
  • Strong knowledge of civil contracts
  • Experience on large infrastructure projects, ideally in the rail sector
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
