Role:Childrens Support Worker
Location:Colchester
Pay:£13.70 per hour
Hours:Full-time, Temporary Shift Work (35-40 hours per week, including 1 weekend per month)

-A graduatewith a 2:2 or higher in any bachelors degree
-Experienced working with children,particularly those with additional needs (preferred but not essential)
-Passionate about SENDand creating inclusive, supportive environments
-Flexible, proactive,andgreat at communicating
What Youll Be Doing:
- Provide nurturing, empowering care that encourages independence
- Support young people with a range of physical, emotional, and learning needs
- Promote social inclusion and engage children in fun, meaningful activities
- Build positive relationships within the home and wider community
- Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and external teams
- Keep accurate records and communicate effectively with the team
- Ensure a safe, stable, and encouraging environment where young people can thrive
- Take part in training and additional responsibilities (including sleep-in shifts and weekends)
