Job Title: Works Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior General Foreperson or Works Manager to play a key role in delivering a major highway project involving earthworks, drainage, and road construction. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the site team, ensuring a positive and safety-focused atmosphere.
- Ensure high-quality project delivery and actively engage with customers.
- Oversee project activities, adhere to NEC contract requirements, and promote community engagement.
- Support team growth, promoting continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with company systems, policies, and legislative requirements.
- Manage team performance for project profitability.
Requirements:
- Experience: Background in Civil, Structural, or Construction Management, ideally with experience in highways.
- Skills: Team leadership, technical knowledge of groundworks, RC structures, and reading drawings.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with NEC contracts, CDM regulations, and programming.
- Qualifications:
- CSCS Card
- IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
