Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior General Foreperson or Works Manager to play a key role in delivering a major highway project involving earthworks, drainage, and road construction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the site team, ensuring a positive and safety-focused atmosphere.
  • Ensure high-quality project delivery and actively engage with customers.
  • Oversee project activities, adhere to NEC contract requirements, and promote community engagement.
  • Support team growth, promoting continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with company systems, policies, and legislative requirements.
  • Manage team performance for project profitability.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Background in Civil, Structural, or Construction Management, ideally with experience in highways.
  • Skills: Team leadership, technical knowledge of groundworks, RC structures, and reading drawings.
