Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading provider based in Colchester.
Role Purpose
- Support a community-focused project to engage and benefit local communities.
- Help restore historic boats and create learning opportunities to improve access and engagement.
- Promote community recovery by organising inclusive activities and expanding outreach efforts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Plan and manage outreach programs for diverse groups, including educators, volunteers, and underrepresented communities.
- Recruit and support volunteers, ensuring the necessary infrastructure is in place.
- Organise meetings, events, and educational activities both on-site and off-site.
- Promote the project using printed materials, websites, and social media platforms.
- Collect feedback and data to evaluate and improve ongoing programs.
Requirements
- Related experience e.g. administration, public sector, recruitment or event planning.
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work in a team or independently.
- Knowledge of health and safety.
- Right to work in the UK
