Welder Fabricator, Near Colchester, Great Prospects
This coach building company are offering a starting salary of circa 14.50ph, with overtime available at increased rates of pay! Core hours are 07:30-16:30 Monday - Thursday and a 13:30 finish on Fridays!
They are looking for a competent MIG welder who is able to work on mild & stainless steel, that is looking for a varied opportunity. Anyone with TIG experience or experience working as a coach builder or fitter would be of extreme interest! You will ideally also be able to lead a small team so we are keen to speak to anyone ready for the next step in their career!
Primary duties include:
- MIG welding stainless & mild steel from 2mm - 15mm
- Operating various manual fabrication machinery
- Reading & working from engineering CAD drawings
- Fabricating various forms of metal / woodwork - basic DIY / carpentry
- Follow company health & safety policies as and when required
Due to the location of the company you will need your own transport to be considered.
This is a permanent role subject to a successful 3-month probation period. During your probation you will receive weekly pay and accrue holiday as you work.
