Day to Day of the Role:- Actively support the Engineering Management Team and contribute to the department’s success through the achievement of individual KPIs.
- Design products that meet quality and industrial standards, environmental, and legal requirements.
- Comply with safety requirements, including PPE compliance.
- Ensure the quality of service and compliance in legislation and standards through effective technical risk management, including Health & Safety.
- Provide accurate technical data to support quality initiatives and right first-time practice.
- Work within departmental policies and procedures and support the Strategic Plan with timely and accurate reporting.
- Provide technical engineering support to group companies, solving technical problems and offering appropriate guidance.
- Attend meetings as required to support sales and operations.
- NVQ3 or HNC equivalent in a relevant engineering subject.
- Knowledge and practical experience of engineering design.
- Highly numerate with competent IT skills.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting and design work, AutoCAD, and Creo.
- Experience with SAP.
- Desirable: NVQ4 or HND equivalent in a relevant engineering subject, Engineer Technician status, or equivalent recognised professional standard.
