About the role
Morrisons is recruiting for a Central Reporting Accountant at it’s manufacturing site in Colne. The role will provide critical support to our Meat Accounting Team, preparing weekly P&L Consolidation for the 3 sites, and completing group reporting. The role will report into the meat division Finance manager and will be central to driving improved reporting and group results.
This role will involve:
- Preparation of weekly P&L and consolidation across 3 sites.
- Weekly P&L Pack preparation.
- Insight & Analysis for Site General Managers.
- Provide cover for 2 Site Accountants on Yield and Cost Control.
- Month End Journals and reconciliation.
- Other Adhoc Projects
About You
- A professional qualification of CIMA, ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent
- Knowledge of financial and management accounting
- Attention to detail
- An ability to deliver in a complex, fast paced environment
- Excellent analytical thinking and numerical skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel or Google sheets skills
- Good verbal communication skills, ability to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way
- Resilience and ability to adapt in an ever changing environment
- Experience of stakeholder management
- Experience of having to prioritise to meet deadlines

About The Company
Set on nine acres of land, our 16,700 square foot Colne site is one of Europe's largest beef, pork and lamb processing facilities.
