A number of primary schools that we work with in the Consett area are looking for friendly, professional and dedicated Primary Teachers for ongoing supply work who are happy to teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. These schools have a great reputation and are supportive and friendly places to work.
There is a high demand for supply cover across these Consett Primary schools with additional roles becoming available on a daily basis. Roles can vary from day to day supply, short term, medium term and long term supply.
We aim to provide all our candidates with work that is suited to them where possible with careful considerations over location, age groups and school settings.
The successful Primary Teacher candidate will :
- Have good classroom management skills,
- Have a passion for Primary teaching
- Be able to plan effective, engaging lessons in a range of subjects across Primary
- Have knowledge of teaching phonics using schemes such as Read Write Inc, Sounds Write, Jollyphonics, Little Wandle or Letters and Sounds
- Work effectively with mixed ability groups of children.
We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

•Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one.
