Senior Process Design Engineer
Location: Cookstown
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per annum plus package (negotiable subject to experience)
Type: Full Time – Permanent (Hybrid) 2-3 days in the office

We are seeking a Chartered Senior Process Design Engineer to join permanently & take ownership of process design for water and wastewater treatment projects overseeing design, testing, and commissioning while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
• Develop innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable water treatment solutions
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff
• Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and hydraulic calculations
• Develop technical specifications, drawings, and documentation
• Support the commissioning and start-up of treatment plants
• Ensure project delivery within budget and time constraints
• Apply your expertise in feasibility studies, simulations, and hydraulic calculations
What we require from you
• 8 years of experience in process engineering ideally in water or wastewater
• Bachelor's degree in chemical/Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Chartered status or working towards.
• Proven track record of managing complex water treatment projects
• Familiarity with sustainability initiatives, energy efficiency, and circular economy concepts in water management
• Expertise in, engineering disciplines, and knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Knowledge and application of Process Simulation Software (e.g., BioWin, Aspen HYSYS)
