Job Purpose:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Part-Time Accounts Assistant administrator to join their Finance team.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Administrative tasks: Answering incoming calls, updating service records, and correspondence.
  • Financial record keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of purchase invoices, reconciling statements, entering staff expenses onto Oracle NetSuite.
  • Credit control: Assisting with credit control and chasing debt
  • Liaising with others: Communicating with clients, suppliers, and third-party providers
  • Updating documentation: Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
  • Any other Ad-hoc administrative duties.

Person Specification:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in accounting.
  • An organised approach to work, strong attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks in a time efficient manner.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS office and good understanding of ERP (Oracle NetSuite desirable) systems whilst having the ability to pick up technology quickly.
  • Good level of Excel - graphs and formulas.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Self-Starter, confident and a good team player.

The position will report directly to the Management Accountant.

20 hours per week flexible to suit personal needs.

21 days annual leave (inclusion of bank holidays) / Christmas bonus (3 days paid in December).
